Matchmaker: Dungeon Heart (2021-present)

Matchmaker: Dungeon Heart is an indie dating simulator game currently in early access. As lead artist for this game I had the opportunity to take characters from concepts all the way to final game assets. The brief was for 2D static pose characters with a series of expression for responding to in game dialogue choices. The game includes 9 datable characters that have a range of body types and gender expressions ad well as several support characters and enemies. Design work has been done in consultation with sensitivity readers for race, gender, and body diversity.

Bathtub Shipwreck (2022)

Character design for short animation based on audio sourced from 11 Second Club. Reimagined the two shipwrecked characters as two bath toys stranded on the side. It was a fun challenge to work out how these toys would move and emote. Created as part of an acting for animation assignment.

Nel the Cyborg and Friends (2022)

Created for an advanced character design assignment. The brief was to design one main character and several support characters for animation.

Nugget the old Gourd Dog (2021)

The days of being an energetic, young pupkin are behind Nugget. As a pedigree crop, she used to travel to all the country fairs, winning many a prize for her grand size and pristine coat. Nowadays, having grown to big to fit in the trailer, Nugget prefers to bask in the sun and watch the younger gourds as they busy themselves herding crops around the farm. When called Nugget to eager to heel although it can take her some time to get up and lumber over to her owner due to her sheer size.
